This is a really great little place to visit. You can either park in the Crown Point carpark and walk a very short 5 mins down a gravel path to the tree, or you can walk from Townley Park via the Wayside Arts Trail. We...More

This is the Burnley Panopticon and is situated on Crown Point. It was a windy day and we could hear the pipes sounding as we approached. The sound is eerie and hauntingly beautiful with pipes of different lengths and tuned slots. It is reached by...More

An amazing piece of architecture on the high grounds overlooking Burnley. Very impressive. Some lovely walks around the area too.

Great views, beautiful structure. Wasn't as big as I expected, but still very cool. It was a very very windy day and the tree was in full voice! Unique way to spend half an hour if passing.

Good view of Burnley, and surounding areas but very bleak up here, just a piece of art made out of old pipes, not somewhere to make a day of it but if passing could spend 10 minutes taking in the view

My second time visiting this site and never fails to impress me. Even in poor weather is lovely, you get the fresh air a nice walk and this beautiful piece of art that sings to you. Take the time and go see it.

The panoptican singing tree is fine itself but the best part about the place is its serenity and beautiful scene. I loved walking there in cold breeze. And it was amazing for the natural beauty lovers.

We visited the Singing Ringing Tree after it had got quite dark. It was a little windy and the sound of the tree was very atmospheric. The view down onto the town was also very impressive. I found the visit to be quite surprisingly reflective...More

Interesting but nothing there other than the tree, a little walk to it from the parking so if your bad on your feet it may not be the best but it was nice to see.. I'd probably not go again though

Visited as part of a day tour of several local sights and glad to have experienced it. It's lovely to listen to - felt really glad that it has been created. It's only a 3 minute walk from the car park.

Seems like others have given very helpful advice. Not that it was the question but it gets very cold and windy in winter so dress up even for the short walk from the car park
