Love the stalls selling a variety of items. Must stop for some oysters as they are divine. Great place to sit and have a coffee and watch the boats come in and unload, or just people watch.

We are regular visitors to Whitstable of course for the oysters, but also for the feel of the place. You have the feeling of industry and family time all together - the boats coming and going with their catch, seafood being cooked at the side...More

We are regular visitors to Whitstable Harbour, it is always interesting whatever the weather or season. In summer there is the added attraction of a market.

We had a great walk along the coast and ended up at the harbour where we saw boats and an oyster processing area.

If you visit Whitstable the harbour is a must, some interesting boats and the fishermen are working, bringing in the catch and maintaining their nets etc.

Spent over an hour walking around the harbour and looking at the pretty craft huts. The traders were helpful , explaining where the views were and time of year , but did not push for a sale .

Yes it is, I have seen many people visiting with their dog. Although I do not know if you can allow your dog off the lead for a swim.
