small harbour with fabulous craft cabins/beach huts with good quality art and crafts - only a small harbour - only downside was the odd quarry right next to it..

Lovely little harbour with fishing boats, oyster and shellfish stalls, a good fish market, souvenir stalls and a seafood restaurant. You can also take boat trips, including on Greta, a Thames Sailong Barge, around the local area.

Visited here twice during a 4 day stay and found nothing open apart from the RNLI shop. What an opportunity wasted for businesses in a great location. Nice view of the boats!

What a lovely place to spend an afternoon. We were travelling around and had decided to look in at Margate but driving through we decided not to stop. I am glad we did as we had a most enjoyable afternoon looking around

Not only can you get the best seafood here but there is also a little craft market where you can pick up reasonably priced clothing, kites, jewellery. It's nice to have a wander round and just chill.

Whether walking the Saxon Shore path or just watching the waves and the sunset, Whitstable Harbour is a great spot to rest and savour nature. Plenty of pubs and oysters.

Yes it is, I have seen many people visiting with their dog. Although I do not know if you can allow your dog off the lead for a swim.
