Nice gardens to wander round and an attractive looking tearoom (untested). We visited on an open day when Morris dancers and other quirky groups were visiting from different parts of the country. Great fun. Had a lovely afternoon.

There is a decent cafe , with lovely cakes. You can sit on the terrace and watch the locals play bowls of have a stroll around the interesting flower beds. A real relaxing experience. the nearby alms houses have a lovely cottage garden too.

Service dogs only allowed in the cafe. This is the same as just about everywhere in the UK I believe.

I see people have responded with the same response I have! We have booked again for next year so hope to find more and revisit the house and gardens anyway. Hope you enjoy everything if you go.
