Half the High Street seems to be empty and struggling but what is open is good. There are still individual shops, and the market on a Friday is excellent.

Tenterden High Street is always a pleasure to visit. It has many public houses and coffee shops, plus other interesting shops including antique shops. A nice way to while away an hour!

Yes, almost everything open on Mondays. Try Rising Sun and Moon , near pub 'The Woolpack' for some interesting clothes - especially upstairs. TINY shop, but brilliant.
