From the minute I left the car, it was heaven. I admired the quirky church, the gorgeous natural gardens (not too prim, just healthy with great variety) and the sweet little theatre, and the tea shop food was very reasonable and taste was out of...More

Beautiful house preserved in time by the daughter of the most recent owner. Fascinating to learn about Ellen Terry and her thespian friends. The Barn theatre still used regularly to this day. Gardens are lovely, particularly on a sunny day.

Lovely house to look round & see the Ellen Terry history. Fabulous garden as well. Only downside is the lack of parking spaces - not enough.
