This place has closed due to expense. Unfortunately, the less intelligent of our country prefer to visit zoo's and peer at monkeys through glass windows. It is a diabolical shame that this has happened. The animals have all be moved on to places they will...More

Has the rare breeds centre at sandwich closed down, after all the money being spent on it. Where have all the animals gone.

Having looked at the leaflets avaliable at the holiday centre we saw the Slow Loris which we have been quite taken by. After enjoying the animals on offer I had to ask about Mr. Loris I was advised that that area had been closed off...More

Although it was expensive here, i was quite looking forwards to seeing the finished product of this quaint yet lovely little zoo. Sad that it has shut.

A small but brilliant zoo nestled in the countryside. Most of the animals on display are rarely-seen and unusual species. The site is nicely landscaped, and half of the enclosures are indoors in the tropical hall, including two sets of clouded leopard cubs (beautiful and...More

Costing over £60 for one adult and four kids I would have expected it to have taken a lot longer than half an hour to go round. Oh yes, and twelve quid for four soft drinks? Seriously?

This is an interesting place to visit with some beautiful animals. It's probably best the think of the place as a charity which you can visit the workings of, rather than a traditional zoo. The site is clearly a work in progress with new areas...More
