Lovely soft sand, gentle waves, steps leading directly into the water at high tide, a boating pool and cafes/restaurants and a pub make this a perfect beach!

Great beach, clean and tidy. Life guards and when the tide is out it has a tidal pool. Loved it. We came to see the shell grotto and should have brought our swim suits

This main beach is really close to the railway station. When we visited it was a lovely day and the beach was all but deserted. Nice sand. Had a very pleasant paddle. Margate has much charm but is still looking a little sad and under-cared-for....More

Deck chairs any day in summer season. Bars all year round. Margate is great all year round.

yes you can, Google national express and put your postcode in of where you want to be picked up and you can see the trips they offer from there.
