Very good place to go fishing . But it it's very rocky I don't recermend it for beginner or kids. If you go east of the car car park the beach is clear from snags from the ship up . Andy Gamble

This is a sea defence that also provides a nice place to sit and look at the sea and gives a sea perspective on HB.

Nice effects but short of five stars but part of what makes Herne bay Herne bay I guess it's a very nice seaside town in my opinion and this is part of the charm

You get lovely views across the bay and back at Herne Bay. It looks further than it is so dont put it off. There is a view point at the end for even better views including the pier.

This is well worth the walk out, it gives great views both out to see and back along the seafront. Unusual design adds interest and the walking is flat and level so is accessable to most.

If you plan on walking on Neptune's Arm make sure the tide is in, it can get smelly. It can certainly blow the cobwebs away. Pleased that they named the end Cartwright's Point after an old school friend and a good supporter of Herne Bay...More

Wander out and along Neptunes Arm which spans out from Herne Bays seafront giving protection for the small boats moored up. Whilst here you can look back at the sea front of Herne Bay. Good advantage point and to see the end of the pier...More

a pleasant walk to get a different view of the area, nothing there ( toilets cafe, shop )but level clean and tidy, good for a wheelchair or pram walk, but not good for very young walkers as they might fall between the railings

Best visited at high tide, it is worth the walk to the end of Neptunes Arms to gain a different view of the harbour and Herne Bays seafront.
