Really didn’t expect a lovely sandy beach. For some reason assumed it was stoney. Was so wrong. Not much open and a cold day; but the sun was out as was the tide. Quite beautiful.

Views stretching from Folkestone to Dungerness - well kept beach. Lovely walks along the seawall in summer and winter/low or high tide. Each change in tide and season beings out new aspects of this family friendly beach

Easy to find then go and enjoy the view ,sea air ,walks ,afterwards you will find somewhere for a coffee / tea. Just get lost and enjoy the surrounds maybe even find the Hythe Dymchurch railway [ another great time to be had ].

Brought our boys for the first time. Big long stretch of sandy beach. Very clean, and there was a very thorough litter picker too. My boys enjoyed playing in the sand, no time for a dip in the sea unfortunately, maybe next time!
