It’s easy to walk by this place as it’s a bit hard to find. Although it’s part of Henry VIII’s coastal defenses, there isn’t a lot to see. Also there’s no guided tour. Worth the visit if you are in the area otherwise you might...More

A last minute decision to visit Yarmouth and as we are English Heritage members we visited the castle. Very interesting regarding history. Fabulous views over the Solent.

We visited this castle on a rainy day and had the place to ourselves, it's only small but a little gem with great views.

We paid a short visit here. As English Heritage members, we could go in for free. There is an interesting residence inside with Tudor fireplace and some furnishings. The information boards are very helpful and set the scene, though there is also a very good...More

A wonderful little castle. It's a place I have wanted to visit for a while. On a nice day it would be worth taking a picnic as the views are fantastic.
