The castle was cool and pleasant and I got in free because of my heritage membership. The view from the second floor was terrific.

There is not too much to see here but it is worth a detour, because there is quite a lot of interesting local history and information about this and similar forts. We found it very informative. Interesting tastings of local produce in the gift shop...More

Hi AuraUk it should take at least 10 to 15 mins to tour the castle but if you like reading and increasing your general knowledge , it should take approximately an hour to an hour and a half depending on how interested you... More
