Worth A Visit
Jul 2020
A beautiful selection of glassware made on the premises. As mentioned elsewhere, also an excellent packing service. Unfortunately we didn't arrive in time to watch the craftsmen at work, but this did not detract from an excellent visit.

Excellent customer service
Aug 2020 • Couples
We visited today to choose a piece of Isle of Wight glass for our 3rd (glass) wedging anniversary.
We were taken by so many pieces however we discussed with the sales staff a certain colourway not available in a certain design. We were assured that these would be made in the future and our telephone number was taken and we were advised that we would be able to come back to choose our piece once they were up and running with two glass blowers

Very interesting place to visit!
Feb 2020
I visited Alum Bay Glass with my sons aged 5 and 1 and my wife on our holiday to the Isle of Wight in February 2020. It is over the road from the Needles Visitor Park, and right by the needles/alum bay headland. It is clear that the inspiration for some, if not all of their studio glass comes from the sights and sounds and colours of the sea and local scenery. It is really interesting to go on the tour, where they show you the glassmaking process from start to end. They are only too pleased to let you ask any questions. There is a well stocked souvenir shop where you can buy a range of glass from animals which my sons loved (they had a glass pig each which was around£10 through paperweights which my wife and I had (large was around £15 and small £8) to vases and large pieces of studio glass. We thought they were reasonably priced for a piece of craftsman glass. We come from Halesowen which is near Stourbridge, the former glass capital of England and home of many art glass pieces, and they were interested when I was telling them about this. It’s a great place to visit and we really enjoyed it, would definitely visit again if back on the island.

Glass Factory was very good!
Aug 2019 • Family
It was very good as we came on a rainy day so we decided to go to Alum Bay Glass and my family and I were glad we did! It is a very good and entertaining attraction to do as you just watch people making making glass jars and vases and ornaments, it’s very good and you can buy the glass in the shop for a reasonable price! Thank You!

Worth A Look
Oct 2019 • Family
Just one of many things to do at Alum Bay. You can either pay to see the glass being made with a short talk or head straight to the shop. Some truly beautiful pieces to choose from. From small animals to large vases, there is something for everyone and is reasonably priced.
