Went in last night for the first time in about 8 years! The pub has much improved. Nice friendly bar staff, good range of drinks and a lovely atmosphere. There was some live music which was good. The pub is also dog friendly which was...More

Good selection of real ales at this local pub, dropped in after the Beer & Buses weekend and was full of lively characters so had a couple of pints of well kept real ale before catching the train home. Conveniently located for the station which...More

Popped in one Sunday lunch time. The lady behind the bar was very friendly. It wasn't very busy so not really able to comment on the atmosphere. The outside area is of a fairly good size but not that attractive. It needs some money spent on...More

Very nice real ale here but the atmosphere created by the landlord and staff is really bad. Some of the barmaids seem to forget they are there to serve the customer and think they have a right to make comments and serve who they want...More

Totally agree! Found this place a couple of years ago when it re-opened and you can't fault the beer and ambience. A lot of debate about the best Real Ale pub on the Island, but I think I know where my vote would go!
