What a local should be. No ice outside area. And extremely plensant staff. Having been shut down for a fairly long time then manage to reopen well done.

Visited last night. Friday night so they had a live band on which were excellent. In seperate room to the main bar so could get away from it if you wanted. This pub is under new management and they seem to be doing a great...More

Do not know what planet the previous reviever was on!! Been a regular at this top pub for over 4 years when the present owner took it over and turned it round from a closed dead end boozer to the No 1 Pub on Island.

Very nice real ale here but the atmosphere created by the landlord and staff is really bad. Some of the barmaids seem to forget they are there to serve the customer and think they have a right to make comments and serve who they want...More

Totally agree! Found this place a couple of years ago when it re-opened and you can't fault the beer and ambience. A lot of debate about the best Real Ale pub on the Island, but I think I know where my vote would go!
