We spent a couple of hours before our ferry enjoying the delights of Ryde Harbour. There are ice creams to eat and frequent Hovercraft to watch, not to mention spotting landmarks in Portsmouth if you happen to have binoculars!

This is a very organised and convenient Harbour. There is parking very near by if using or booking the hovercraft. Best to book in advance if don't want to be disappointed also look for. Special offers. If getting the ferry, there is a train that...More

We walked down to the harbour, lots of people sitting around, eating ice creams, children having fun, great atmosphere. We saw the hovercraft go out and had a short walk along the pier

I was so impressed with all the staff and crew on the Ferry and its surrounding area. You all do such a good job, and often, I am sure, with trying visitors! But, most impressed, and about time the workers got a thumbs up!

Popped down with the grandkids. Simple small harbour but plenty for them to look at with interest. Able to purchase food etc from several places so that also helped.

Walked around the esplanade for an hour or so. Watched the Hovercraft come and go. Plenty of places for a drink or something to eat. Nice to sit and watch the world go by. The road up to the town was a bit too steep...More

Harbour with walks around and many different sizes and shapes of craft. Plenty of opportunities for a snack too. Visit if you are near.

Fascinating watching the hovercrafts coming and going. Walked the pier and enjoyed the crafts. There was plenty to see in the town but it was the hovercrafts that really interested us. We resolved to go back one day and take a trip!
