Visited the heath with my grandchildren, what a beautiful place, fantastic scenery. Good playground safe surface for kids and good cafe to get coffee and ice cream. Kept them happy

A lovely place. They have free car parking. There’s a children’s play area and next to that is a cafe which we didn’t go into as it was closed. Seats available to sit and rest and watch the water with the birds. A nice place...More

Lovely stroll around Peterfields lake, also not far from town centre lovely shops, the lake as a coffee shop, park, toilets near by!! Feed the ducks great day out!!

Great for families, rowing,cafe and great playground with good toddler section.Busy on fathers day but still parking available. Row boats reasonably priced.

Very good day. Parked at Heath car park & walked around lake & then after use of facilities & coffee into Petersfield. Swans, Canada Geese, Moor Hens & Ducks in evidence.

A great location for a stroll, jog or picnic. It’s very accessible, and has a lovely atmosphere. But it does become crowed at weekends.

Driving from the town on the southern side of the lake, the car park is on the left at the far end on that side. It's a free car park. You can also find parking in the treats around it.

it is exactly 1.3 km. I measured it with a tape roller borrowed from the council when I was run training.
