The service is excellent but my Chiaki was not. It was really spicy but had no flavour at all. It was bland. My associates however , found the Lasagne to be the winner.

We stopped in for lunch after a Christmas walk. The service was warm and welcoming and we had a lovely chat with the landlord. There is a nice variety of local ales and the menu is full of hearty pub grub. We had the pie...More

A different experience. Could be a shock to the millennials. A friendly, exceedingly welcoming establishment, that is light years behind Bath with buckets of charm and exceedingly good food!

Ended up in Tormanton with one of our walking boots having lost its sole! Tried another pub before, but they did not seem interested in helping. The barmaid/manager at the Majors Retreast went out of her way to help, whilst we enjoyed an excellent pint....More
