Value for money. Good restaurant, lounge, toilets and shop. Arrived in Dieppe 1 hour early due to calm sea.

I can't praise DFDS Seaways highly enough for their service. I travelled on the ferry on April 22nd from Newhaven to Dieppe and the service I received was excellent. Unfortunately I had a very bad burn to my foot which made walking extremely difficult even...More

We booked a cabin out and back for a ski-drive holiday with two children under 12yrs. The ferry was nearly empty on both journeys. Check-in was not well organised, you have to queue again for your cabin key which is separate to your boarding pass....More

DFDS to France gets a score of 4 simply for being effieient and on time, everything else would be a 3. Newhaven terminal is almost non existent, Dieppe is not much better. The ships seem to be quite old, perhaps being North Sea ferries out...More

I searched all possibilities for best value crossings to enable arrival mid afternoon. This was the best. Departure and arrival on time. No delays offloading as boat was empty. Glad I went this way as snow in Kent. Had snow nest day in Dreux.

You get what you pay for, and this crossing is not ruinously expensive. It cuts out quite a bit of motorway driving to reach Calais and drive west across Kent and Sussex (which is our case). But Newhaven has a tired and decrepit air that...More

The Newhaven- Dieppe route is a good way of getting a ferry between England and France that avoids more busy busy routes from Dover to Calais for example, and reaches France in just over 4 hours. DFDS Seaways is one of the biggest ferry operators...More

super service on DFDS but seriously let down by what is called Border Control ...A fully loaded ship at Newhaven and only 1 person for border control ...expect huge delays if this is all they can muster .

Hi, they do not usually make a charge to change a booking, but you might need to pay more if the ferry is more expensive. You will be better off phoning them rather than email. Their number is on the website
