This is such a cheap way to get into France. On top of that it has a very reasonably priced bar and a canteen with a couple of hot meal options. Even has WiFi, which admittedly is limited but functional for mid crossing. Will use...More

Never disappointed, this time as usual the ferry sailed on time. Well organised loading and unloading, we didn’t have too long to wait. Staff on board polite and helpful.

Long haul standards on a short haul ferry; and it's a great deal! A crew proud of their ships, providing good lounge facilities and catering. Add to this various deals, and that Dieppe is best placed for the Loire and South West France as well...More

We were crossing from UK for a week for the 24hr Le Mans motor race. Excellent crossing times and comfortable for the 11pm outward trip. Midday-Isa return from Dieppe also very convenient. Fast boarding and disembarking at both ends due to the smaller scale of...More

Our trip took us from Dieppe to Newhaven and was a pleasant experience. The price was very reasonable and we would definitely do this again. Getting to the ferry is walking distance from the Dieppe harbor, but because we had two suitcases, we took a...More

DFDS are a super way to travel to Dieppe. You board quickly. The Toilets are clean. The restaurant is good. And the four hour journey aboard the Ferry goes quickly. It is a sea voyage of splendour to start your holiday. Much better to go...More

Living in West Sussex, Dover is a much longer drive and Portsmouth ferries are extortionate, so going Newhaven to Dieppe is an excellent, fairly priced option. Yes the ferry is small with less facilities, but in four and a half hours how much shopping and...More

We have always sailed from Porrsmouth to Caen with Brittany or P and O. We were a bit apprehensive because it was so cheap and they gave us an over 60's discount. We needn't have worried. It was a lovely boat. The meals on board...More

Can't help with the location of the train station, however, I can tell you that the disembarkation is very quick. We were off in about 10 minutes.

Hi Ben, the ferry gets in at 4am. You will be woken up by a jolly jingle. You can't stay in the cabin as it has to be prepared for the next occupant. It takes a while to get off the ferry and then the buses and trains will... More
