I walked the circular trail around the reserve. It's a scenic walk and would be especially lovely when the heather is in bloom. The route goes through a landscape of heathland and lightly wooded areas, and down into a steep-sided valley with a little bridge...More

A very picturesque area, great for hikers or just people out for an easy stroll just to look at the countryside and admire the lovely buildings

Set amidst the beautiful Ashdown Forest with heathland, woodland and boggy areas. A great variety of both fauna and flora at any time of year. My favourite time to visit is early summer. With its own car park. Well worth a visit.
