As we come from East Anglia we found the stories of the 1953 tidal surge very moving and informative with lots of history about the surrounding area.

A small museum that it very well set out and very interesting. There is no charge to enter but there is a box for donations which everyone should give. It is only open for limited hours so check before you go

Spent 45 mins hear would have been more but we were on a parking bay x excellent for young kids too x very informative easy to find

This is an amazing little museum and an absolute must if you are interested in the history of Southwold and surrounding areas. The museum is open in the afternoon until 4 and the staff hugely knowledgeable. Very glad we popped in.

A lovely little museum with a little bit of everything from flora and fauna to the great flood of Southwold! All in a historical building. You can easily spend a good hour inside.
