A beautifully kept Museum with many different artefacts. Lovely staff make you feel very welcome as you enter. The building has many rooms and the displays are spread over different levels. Well worth a visit when you are in town.

It is nice as a family afternoon out, you wouldn't be able to make a day of it. But it is a nice little museum and is educational for the kids to know about the past.

The staff are all really helpful and are all volunteers. There is not a huge amount to see but the Egyptian part is well worth. A visit. The shop has an interesting selection of items as well as stamps and some collectibles in antiques.
