Rather stoned and rocky. Long prom with lots of amusement and ice cream stalls. The East beach is more sandy and quieter.

Hunstanton is a wonderful place to relax by the sea. Beautiful walks along the cliffs and the beach, great places to eat and drink and lovely people who will actually speak to you. Makes such a nice change.

Hunstanton beach is in small sections with dividing fences so feels more secure and less stressful when you have 2 small active children with you! They loved digging in the soft clean sand And also loved paddling in the sea! Hunstanton is a lovely traditional...More

Beach is OK in OLD Hunstanton but in the main touristy part is very boggy. Almost like clay in some parts, especially when you walk further out when the tide is out. It is very good for rock pooling though.

Came here after the heatwave of early July 2018 on an overcast day with the wind picking up. Still had a great day out - saw the amphibious vehicle and lots of children having fun in and around the water.

Not what I was expecting which was an old world beach resort, instead I got a NE coast hybrid of Weston Super Mare and Blackpool. Lots of chips and ice cream being consumed, some fair ground rides and people enjoying the sunshine. Nothing wrong with...More

We parked right on the front as this is signposted seafront. I would suggest to get there early as it can get busy at weekends and holidays.
