This beach is a five minute walk from the car park, over sand dunes. It was almost empty on the afternoon we visited. It was so tranquil.

Saw this beach , or number of beaches, on a drizzly grey day but it still looked very attractive.A series of coves.Hardish sand but best perhaps at low tide.Lovely area though must get busy in peak season.

We hiked the beach and visited Abbey Island. Beautiful views. You can access the beach from the Derrynane House or there is a car park if you drive past the house entrance. There is a beautiful grassy hill leading to the beach.

We stumbled upon this gem while making the loop drive, actually hitting it quite late in the day. We wanted to visit the house, but it had just closed, so we were able to walk the nice path beside the parking lot down to what...More

We saw this beach as we were doing the ride around the Ring of Kerry and it looked so very beautiful indigo blue waters and a large sandy beach. Some great photographs, but we did not have the time to explore.

Just stopped by chance and found a hidden gem. Really beautiful, unspoilt views. A real photo opportunity.

Kerry has many magnificent beaches. In April, this beautiful beach was close to empty. Massive Sandy areas of beach as well an ideal example of Rocky areas to sit upon while the winds blowing through your hair.

There is a life guard there. I would check with him as the beach looks lovely and there are perfect spots to swim but there are parts with rocks also for those that do not know the beach. When you come into the parking lot... More
