A short drive from Stanthorpe and opens up assorted opportunities for water sports such as fishing, kayaking etc. some good views make for some interesting photos. There is a road network that completely circles the entire dam area.

just stopped there after my walk on the 1st day of my 3 night stay nearby, before checking in. Was just having a look around the area to see what was there. Would have been nicer on a fine day, but still not too bad.

Great place for a walk along the shore of the longish lake. Interesting flora in the area if you come from the lowlands.

Great place to drift around, dangle a line or just read on the bank. An abundance of birds, turtles, yet very peaceful.

Not very far from the town and easy to get to. Lots of space and there's picnic areas with tables and benches, swings and boat ramp. Lovely little dam in the country.
