The views from this walking track are so varied. First up is Lovers Beach, which is totally secluded, before walking through lots of rainforest, ferns and pandanus. After this we came across gorgeous views to the Family Islands. Then onto Lugger Bay, which is just...More

This track starts off well with boardwalk. It then goes up and down some rougher track and ends up at a lovely beach. It is not worth the hike for our age group 65 plus but probably ok for younger ones who want exercise and...More

An interesting walk with great views, through the rainforest, along the beach and on the boardwalk. A few steps to climb along the way but they were fine! Need to go on the low tide so you can walk along the beach.

Read reviews and, water in hand, sun cream applied and runners on, we set off. The track was easy to follow and we loved walking “where rainforest meets reef” as today there was a cool breeze & plenty of shady sections. We walked to Kennedy...More

Fantastic to see this track re-opened after the damage from Cyclone Yasi in 2011. The track is better than ever with fantastic boardwalks and interesting signage explaining the flora, fauna and nearby island identification. Amazing weather heightened my day!

Beautiful path through rainforest and beach. Some stairs, but relatively easy hike. Really enjoyed our walk.

Reasonable fitness required here - there are a few irregular sections along the middle of the trail where the boardwalk gives way to beaten earth, stones and tree roots. I am in recovery from a broken ankle and found it fairly tricky after the first...More
