Reasonable food very cheap, good beer and friendly staff. I had the basic burger which was good - came with nice chips. The beer garden was very nice.

Super experience, lovely warm welcome, good honest food. Excellent beer with a choice of four good ales. Staying in Kegworth at the big hotel but the burger I had here knocked the one the 'Marcos' into a chefs hat. Will visit again.

We walked in and all we get is dirty looks, locals not welcoming at all.
They messed up are drinks and when we asked for new ones I heard the locals talking about us.
The only nice part of the whole pub was the lovely staff terrible food though.
Messing up the drinks was not the waiters fault.
Don't come here terrible food you could buy from a cheap shop.

Terribly disappointed. Called there on Tues evening. We picked a table and immediately got told off by some locals, saying it was reserved. People on another table told us it wasn’t, so we sat at it, whilst table A gave us dirty looks. Not very welcoming from the locals. It is a beer garden and our expectations were not extravagant. The staff were nice, but ALL the food seemed to be from Bookers wholesale. None of it tasted nice, and none of our party of 6 finished our meal. I myself only had 2 mouthfuls.

Stopped off here out of desperation for a cold drink on a scorching day and so pleased to have found it!
The garden is a beautiful place for a chilled drink, the food we had was so reasonably priced and absolutely delicious and the staff were incredibly incredibly lovely.
Will definitely make the effort to visit again!

I spend a fair amount of time in Kegworth with work and decided to go for a wander this evening to try and find somewhere different to eat and stumbled across this little gem. Lovely warm welcome and lovely homemade food! All made better by the little beauty that is Chunk the Doggo. Will definitely be returning when I’m next here!

Staying in a nearby hotel so decided to pop here for a quick drink. It’s a quaint pub with a few rooms around the central bar area and a beer garden out back. The staff seem friendly and the choice of drink was good. Looks like it’s popular with the locals.

Hi. I am not certain but I don't think there is parking next to the pub. There is a public parking area a short walk (less than 5 mins) away outside the village Co-op which is free. Hope this helps.
