We came here for a drink after an afternoon of walking and it was lovely. The people working on the bar and the locals were all dead friendly, the drinks were delicious and dogs and muddy boots seemed very welcome.

A modernised and spotlessly clean pub with a good reputation for real ale. The atmosphere is friendly and there was a good selection of real and craft ales available. The service at the bar was quick and friendly. Only downsides was some dodgy music and...More

This is our nearest local pub. It has a nice atmosphere, and lots of guest ales. It's only downside as far as we're concerned is that they don't do food.

Really friendly, welcoming bar staff. Lovely cosy interior and great atmosphere, just like a village pub should be. Pub does not do food but does offer a limited range of bar snacks.
