I came to the church to see the 5000 clay models on display in the chancel. Very unusual and impressive. But this ancient church is well worth visiting in its own right as a structure and also to look at the various tombs.

Quite a large church for the size of town. Nice architecture and the chapel with the family tombs is amazing in terms of ages and quality of the carvings.

A brass plaque in the chapel on the south side of the church commemorates its dedication on 24 April 1241 , loved the fact that this church has not had the modern touch . There is much stained glass in the church
