Beautiful location, cheap parking for the day, good play facilities, and walks, nice cafe and exibition. Also water sports bike hiire, Can be a cheap day or more expensive, but lots to choose from, and well worth a visit. Also shops to browse.

Visited on our way to our campsite for a wander, walked the circular route which was very enjoyable, lots of wildlife to see. The visitor centre is well equipped, clean and inviting, catering for a wide range of guestsMore

Gorgeous scenery, nice play area and icecream bar. Friendly staff. And some lovely person even handed our back pack in when we left it behind. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Best to park at the Sheepwash car park for viewing wildlife. There are short walks in both directions to bird hides and there's always something interesting to see. We've seen reed buntings, baby long tailed tits, little grebe and rabbits ! You can hire canoes...More

Lots of fun and lots to do. We did the cycling and water activities and both were easy to book and very memorable for the entire family. Would certainly recommend if in the area.

Once you cross the stepping stones there is a small area where you can have a paddle, but there are stones in the water so bare foot is not advisable.
