Love this place, whether for a short walk or a longer one all around the reservoir. Well catered for dogs too with water bowls dotted here and there. Love the ice cream there too! Lovely shops and the staff are really friendly and helpfulMore

We never tire of Carsington Water whatever time of year we visit and a sunny Sunday stroll with the beautiful countryside all around is a wonderful way to spend a few hours.

A good visitors centre, shop and cafe with plenty of parking space, there is a well defined and maintained footpath around most of the reservoir, well worth a visit.
