Excellent food, portions are more than adequate and well prepared from local butchers and shops. you won't go away hungry. Always a real ale on handpull several lagers and full measure too. Plus a good selection of wines
The food was excellent all served by a very cheery friendly bar maid...the portions are the usual huge Cumbrian ones however smaller portions at a smaller price are available. Booking on Sundays would be a must i would think.
