Visited whilst staying in Eskdale, just so the dog could have a run on a beach. Beach is really just pebbles. Cafe nearby. Pleasant enough was to spend an hour or two.

A lovely pebble beach for about 100 yards then into sand with a close shore line. We ate at the Seacote Cafè which was very charming with lovely views of the beach.

A pleasant enough beach, quiet busy when I was there but most of the beach at high tide was very stoney though at low tide the sea goes back along way and then it is mainly sandy

Great beach but can be busy at weekends especially if weather good. Close toWhitehaven who's population descends on the spot when weather good
