Take a kite and sunscreen with you. Lots of dogs everywhere. Good place to read or build sand castles. An average ice cram shop and a park were nearby. There is a trail on a mountain close to this beach, try that.

A lovely bay with great views and only a short walk to the beach from the car park. The beach looked like it was all rock rather than sand but the tide was in. Plenty of benches near the beach to sit and take advantage...More

Fantastic beach with endless sand and distant waves. Morning low tide as the sun burned off the mist produced atmospheric scenes as walkers, children and dogs enjoyed the freedom of space. Absolutely gorgeous. Easily comparable to any beach I’ve been on in Greece, France, Spain...More

Fabulous setting overlooking the beach. Friendly staff and excellent coffee and cakes 😊. Beach has both pebble and sand sections and great waves. Beware tide covers the sand quite rapidly when coming in.
