This is a delightful grassed area right in the middle of the town, enjoyed freely by all. In recent times we have seen children dancing here. Good places for food and drink nearby.

A good square to visit on most occasions but do try to the first Thursday in August (for 3 days, Thurs to Sunday.) Free entry and many fine paintings by local artists. Proceeds for Charity.
