A small village with a market on a Friday. Lots of very interesting factual plaques on buildings basically giving a history. Beautiful church. a pleasure to visit. If parking on the market square pick up a disc from local shops.

This is a delightful grassed area right in the middle of the town, enjoyed freely by all. In recent times we have seen children dancing here. Good places for food and drink nearby.

It is the main car park in the centre of Milnthorpe. It has a good farmers market on Friday each week, which does mean you can't use it as a car park. There is a nice view of the church and it's green with a...More

Went for breakfast (Sue's breakfast highly recommended!) and a morning wander through the town which was just beautiful! Very quaint but perfect for exploring!

Stopped off there this morning. Stunning location and a great breakfast at Sue's! St Thomas Church was delightful, had an art exhibition on with lots of local works, stunning :)
