Visited several waterfalls during our holiday but this was our favourite, the walk through the woods was lovely and the atmosphere around the falls is very special. Would love to visit when the rhododendrons are in flower.

I'm not sure whether this inspired the Herbal Essences and / or the Timotei adverts but it wouldn't surprise me. There's not much in the way to do once you get here but the dogs certainly enjoyed frolicking in the plunge pool. The only problems...More

We climbed up to the waterfall and it was beautiful. The ferns and woodland foliage so beautiful. Bit slippy in parts on the wet day we visited.

Although it was cold in the rain it is the ideal time to see the waterfall in full force. The walk there is fairly gentle uphill. Although slippery in places it didn’t feel dangerous. Good for all the family

Go for a swim right into the falls if you dare But it's pretty cold in there! The last section of the walk has uneven steps and there's some clambering over rocks to get to the water.

Another secret place to visit most people stay by the bridge lower down and swim but if you do decide to venture further up the Esk you are in for a treat .The walk follows the Esk and takes you up to the falls where...More
