Warm welcome at the High Cross, we had afternoon snack which was very tasty, especially the mushroom soup. The view from the main restaurant out down the Duddon is breathtaking. Great chating with hosts Steve and Bella.

This pub is just outside Broughton village; recently under new management, we stopped here for a pint at the end of our walk to Gt Stickle. Warm welcome, open fire, good pint and compelling menu; Worth a visit!
