After months of drought, they were unimpressive. If you are thinking of seeing them en route on your walk around the lake, I'd say think twice, because the onward bridge is out and you have to backtrack to get back onto your path.

Might sound obvious but what a difference a couple of days can make! Stunning scenery all around here and the dry weather made it a lot easier underfoot, but the falls suffer temporarily.
