Found by accident when visiting Catalyst museum. this area has been opened up by new road networks for the Mersey Crossing bridge ....opens Fri /Sat this week. the history of the area is fascinating

Pickerings is a good walk. Good for walking the dog. good place for children to run and play. Nice vista a cross the mersey

Great place to walk your dig in any weather. You can even walk to spike island and back or to hale village. Nice views but does smell a bit sometimes

Went for a lovely walk here; beautiful views across the Mersey, although there is a bit of a pungent sulphur smell but when you're in a natural area some smells are to be expected!

Never seen anyone fishing from here, but you can fish towards otterspool prom end of the river, and spike island in widnes.
