There is a small museum guide available at the information desk in the Visitor Centre as you enter tthe Old Gaol. You pay £3.50 but there are 15 small areas to walk through, including the former cells and ending in the one time Prisoners Exercise...More

Small but packed with interesting finds. Everybody will find here something interesting. Children will look for activities marked by funny little mouse. Ladies will love beautiful laces and some connection with Lark Rise to Candleford, novel and drama. A must if you want to learn...More

The centrepiece of Buckingham: The Old Gaol, build from local Cotswold stone. Well preserved relic of days gone by. Well worth stopping by to have a look. Only a small charge to enter. Lots of tourist information.
