A delightful treat of seeing the expansive dream of a gentleman in the 1930's who dug out a swimming pool in his back garden and used the mounds of extracted dirt to start a model village. It's a beautiful example of what life was like...More

Our grandson can't visit often enough. There is so much to entertain him. He likes the trains best, but there is the play area, the train ride and radio controlled boats. The detail of the models is fascinating, you are unlikely to take it all...More

I went here with a friend and we adored it. The attention to detail is superb. Going with children I think you miss bits and pieces but taking your time to walk around you really appreciate the workmanship and humour behind many of the models.

There are picnic tables on a small grassed area and a cafe. There is room to keep your buggy with you around the village. There is also a good play area.
