This is a pretty place to stop and look around. The lighthouse is open to walk inside and there were also park employees on site to answer questions and give some history. There are trails all around the lighthouse, some almost fort like. It was...More

History kept alive by the items kept from the ancestry of the families .the top floor has a few rooms kept in traditional bed, clothes,, cooking items , recipes etc . The staff is full of information and are so willing to share their tales

We went in the evening and hiked a few of the trails. We saw a minke whale from one of the decks. Kids loved exploring the tide pools on the ocean trail. Great spot to watch the sunset.

The best place to view sunsets. I proposed to my lady on a trail between the ocean and lighthouse. The sunsets are incredible as are the views.

Nice spot to visit. There is an exhibition in the lighthouse. Walks around the area, with lovely views over the ocean. Washrooms and parking.

There are several trails that branch off from the lighthouse. I highly recommend the one that takes you down to the north shore. Try and do this at low tide. My son and I explored along the shoreline and found baby crabs, baby lobster, starfish,...More

This is a great place to spend the day. The trails are well kept, the lighthouse itself has great history and there was a lot of neat information. I would recommend this as a stop!
