This appears one of the few aboriginal art centra where you are allowed to make some pictures, and getting a short explanation from the guide. In most other centres or shops this is prohibited. Such does not really promote the art.
Wow what an impressive building & set up in a fairly remote place. Obviously this has had a lot of thought & $$ go into it & thankfully it seems to be well used by the local indigenous people. Their paintings for sale are wonderful...More
Apart from the small but well-presented display of art (mainly local/traditional themes), there is a display about local history and culture. Best of all, the live festivals and shows.

Was told to visit this with the promise it was on bitumen & close to town. It was excellent.
The art centre had a short film in the cinema which was very good and explained some of the recent history of the areas indigenous peoples....More
