Our guide Sophie was wonderful. She readily gave us instructions. Sophie was not only friendly but very professional in guiding our family along the shoreline. We had a wonderful experience. No bathroom on site so be sure to go before your ride ( reason for the 4 stars instead of 5)! Horses were awesome, would do it again.
Thank you.
Thank you.

5 of my friends and I rode for 4 days at the end of May 2018. Fabulous horses, food and scenery. Just can't say enough good things about how this trip went for us!
Melissa is truly amazing. Great rider and guide and wonderful chef. She is a true gem.
I want to go back next year!

Good horses, great food, awesome guide! Took a 4 day ride in the chic chocs with 5 other ladies between the ages of 40 and 70, stayed 2 nights in a camp (inside), stayed 2 nights on the farm. Rode on logging roads, saw a moose, some seals and pristine lakes from horseback. Rode on the gulf of St Lawrence when the tide was out (this was very interesting for me!) This ride is suitable for riders who are in decent shape (don't need to be in tip top condition, we certainly were not!), who are capable of controlling their well trained and safe trail horses on mostly flatish terrain. (Lots of up and down but not strenuous). The only downside for me was the bed at the farm, the mattresses at the camp were very comfy!! (However I know some of the ladies had great sleeps on the farm!) Would definitely recommend this experience!! Plan to stay longer in the area and see more. The scenery is stunning!

It was a 17 hour long, but very scenic drive for the 6 of us and the last part of the drive was breathtaking, we actually saw a whale while driving along the coast. The drive was worth it! We were warmly received and shown to our accommodations which were very clean and comfortable. Melissa was amazing during our 4 day stay. Not only was she a top notch guide, but an incredible gourmet cook! The horses were well-suited to each of us and were safe and in good shape. The riding through the forest and along the beaches was amazing. We got quite close to a moose and a group of seals.

We enjoyed our 2 1/2 hour horse ride along the beach and in the forest. Guide was interesting and gave us simple explanations. Horses were nice. This is a great activity to do on a warm sunny day! Wear long pants, socks and good shoes. Wear sunscreen and bug spray too!

Horseback riding with the family on the beach or in the forest... The horses are fantastic and the scenery even better. Great staff too! Totally worth every penny!

First off, skip the forest trek. The beach trek is 100% better. Staff was great, horses were great but unfortunately there was no way we could run with the horses. Scenery on the beach was A-1

We went for the one hour ride in the forest and one hour on the beach and it was a blast... The guide was fabulous. She spoke little English and we spoke little French but we were able to easily communicate. She was very attentive to ensure the kids were safe and having fun. The horses were well trained and even if you have never ridden a horse before you will have fun.
Cost wise we felt it was very appropriate for what we got to do and see..

I can't seem to find any info on this years rides and dates. One of the translated pages said you needed your own horse and trailer. Are they no longer running outfitted rides? What are the costs for the various rides? It sounds like a wonderful opportunity to ride and see another part of the country. Thanks for any info you can send me. Linda McKenzie

Hello,
My cruise ship will be docked in Gaspe on October 2, do you have any activities that one person can sign up for? Also:
- Is there transportation available between the cruise ship terminal and your location? If Yes, what type of transportation?
- Our ship sails at 4:00pm. What time do the activities end - would I be able to return to the ship by 3:30pm?
