What a great place Croyde is, plenty of places to eat, but the highlight has to be the fantastic beach! Would imagine it's packed in the Summer, not so in November lol.

We really enjoyed the cute village of Croyde. It has a selection of pubs, cafes, Post Office, gift shops, etc. You won't need long to see it all but it's a lovely place to wander around.

We visited on a wild and wind autumn evening just as s storm was rolling-in. You can scramble over rocks, rock pooling as you go. The beach is expansive and gives that optical illusion that the sea is much "higher" than the beach, but the...More

We love Croyde bay, fabulous beach, and the surf. Lovely and clean, volleyball nets in summer and an ice cream van. Loos and beach shops/cafe Ruda end. And the surf school. Safe for children, very busy in summer, we have been end of may and...More

Croyde Bay is worth a visit. Really lovely place to see. The nearby beaches are amazing and there are brilliant surf schools - also right on the beach. Was there with my teenage sons and it was perfect for them.

Lovely beach. Lifeguards present. Parking £5 daily or there's a car park before village with big blue bus in £1 a hour. Walkway to beach directly oppisite. Lots of water sports to watch. Long walks on top.

This is a great beach for surfing and there's a ton of surf dudes everywhere. The beach is large and sandy, but it's a shame they've built some ugly 80s style holiday apartment houses right at the entrance to it. The town itself is a...More

Lovely village. Some nice eateries and a couple of surf shops. Beware the lack of pavement in places. Nice pasties and ice cream!

One of a gang of eight families, we descended on Croyde Bay for a final summer blast to celebrate a significant birthday. Went to Croyde on the Sunday, for a bit of surfing / body boarding. Beach clean and large enough for us all. BBQ's...More

It's bad enough out of season, I would first ask who you're renting from. Then I would try the local tourist information as I know they do weekly passes, then you can park at any car park your permit allows when you out and... More

Not sure about the dogs. But there are lots of camping and caravan sites with loads facilities. Ruda bay has glamming camping with club house swimming pool etc but more quiet sites every few miles.
