Overview
More
This wonderful garden was landscaped in a setting of great beauty on top of a cliff with breath-taking views over the sea, and it is a fine specimen of the spirit that animated the Noucentista movement in Catalonia - an early twentieth-century movement for intellectual and aesthetic renewal that found a distinguished spokesman in the writer Eugeni d'Ors. The Santa Clotilde gardens were designed in the manner of the dainty yet austere gardens of the Italian Renaissance by Nicolau Rubió i Tuduri at the age of twenty-eight, when he was still brimming over with admiration for his master in the art of landscape gardening, Forestier.

We visited here June 2018, only costs 5 euros per adult which is well worth paying for the views and gardens could easily send a couple of hours here taking it all in the fountains landscaping and statues.

We went there on purpose though have not found the place. Sign are strange, the road seems abandoned like the place itself. There are some private properties in the forest. We assumed that the forest is the garden and decided to leave. The cliff side...More

The gardens are very beautiful. A lot of stairs. So if you visit you need comfortable shoes. It's 20 min walking from city center. One of most beautiful gardens that I have seen and top place to visit in Lloret de Mar.

For a really cheap price you will explore unique gardens with spectacular views for great photos. It was my favorite place in Costa Brava.

Nice gardens, great view to the beach. In my opinion, they are a little bit small but a perfect lace to relax.

The view is not worth the money because you can hike and see same view everywhere...the difference is manicured gardens and a few statues.

I can’t remember exactly, but I’m sure we paid less than €5 return for 2 adults.

If you are coming from Barcelona especially to see these gardens, they will certainly get you away from the city and offer a peaceful atmosphere. There is a bus station in the centre of Lloret but as to which bus you take... More
