Overview
More
This wonderful garden was landscaped in a setting of great beauty on top of a cliff with breath-taking views over the sea, and it is a fine specimen of the spirit that animated the Noucentista movement in Catalonia - an early twentieth-century movement for intellectual and aesthetic renewal that found a distinguished spokesman in the writer Eugeni d'Ors. The Santa Clotilde gardens were designed in the manner of the dainty yet austere gardens of the Italian Renaissance by Nicolau Rubió i Tuduri at the age of twenty-eight, when he was still brimming over with admiration for his master in the art of landscape gardening, Forestier.

Really enjoyed walking round these gardens, even though my friend and I are young girls we had a good time. Some lovely views of the sea and the beach below.

Great Gardens to spend a couple hours, if you’re into gardens, then this is he perfect place to have a stroll. Reasonably priced. Even on the day we went, there was free entry, so even better.

Very nice and well kept gardens, we took plenty of lovely pictures here! Some great views of the coastline as well. We visited this by using the hop on/hop off bus (starts off at Lloret bus station) and got in for half price so no...More

On a hill side high above two cove beaches with beautiful sea views: neat, tidy with very little variety and very little information on the ground. A lot of small to medium size statuary but no sign to say who they depict or their time...More

Beautiful place, a true gem of Costa brava. We have visited it with kids and even they enjoyed it. Better go in the second half of the day, as the gardens at the sunset are specially beautiful.
