Huge convention center in Downtown Raleigh, near lots of parking and several hotels. There is a giant open floorspace that can be subdivided, plus several ballrooms and meeting rooms. There are often several events happening at the same time, so make sure you know what room(s) your event is in. Plenty of paid parking nearby, some with options to pay at a kiosk before you get to the toll gate. If you go several blocks away, you can find some free street parking but it is at your own risk. Overall, a good space for meetings and big events.

Drove 5 hours to see Snarky Puppy - they did NOT disappoint (except starting 20 mins late and only playing a little over an hour!) Venue is easy to get to, and to get around in. Staff is very friendly w/o being pushy. Refreshments are limited, but reasonably priced. Seats were excellent. My only complaint is that they seated guests who arrived late (some as late as 45 minutes) during performance numbers! As a musician and performer myself, this is a huge no-no, and very distracting to patrons and performers. Staff should be more conscientious about respecting this. But otherwise, awesome1

We evacuated here for the hurricane and it was not our best choice. The room was filthy- our 7 month old was able to easily find crumbs on the floor and other debris that he tried to jam in his mouth. I don’t expect white glove service at hotels but I also don’t expect to have to clean when I arrive at a hotel.

We recently held our annual conference at the Raleigh Convention Center and I was very impressed with the facilities. Very large, open and clean. A wide variety of spaces for meetings and classes. Definitely a great venue

I was an exhibitor at the Convention Center and was very pleased with how well organized everything was. Set up, and take down was easy and guests were well handled.

This event was good. I had not been to one before. I thought it would be bigger than it was. All the vendors were very friendly. The merchandise was very nicely displayed.

Nice building, soaring ceilings, and lots of good spaces for meetings and trade shows. I was a videographer so got to go behind the rooms where the staff traveled. Lots of escalators but the elevators are strange, never could figure out which floors each served. None appeared to go to all the floors.

I was an attendee at this year’s Animazement, an anime convention, over Memorial Day Weekend.

One of the best parts of the weekend was being at a venue that could actually accomodate an event of this size.

For comparison: I’ve previously attended another anime convention, Katsucon, at the Gaylord at National Harbor, Maryland. At National Harbor, there is very little affordable food available, and you have to walk a ways to get to it. Also, space and parking are extremely limited. The Raleigh Convention Center has neither of these issues. I will note that Animazement brought in restaurants, so there was food right on-site, but even without it, there are an Asian restaurant and a Jimmy John’s right by the RCC, and a McDonald’s maybe two blocks away. There are a number of parking lots all within a couple blocks, which is convenient.

Overall, the RCC was clean and spacious. Every part of the building felt like it was maintained well.

We attend the home show there each year. The downtown area is beautiful and parking is not bad. We love walking around the area after attending the event
