Excellent small museum focusing on the history of Catawba County and it’s people. Located in the historic local courthouse in the town square. Beautiful old building that was and is the county seat of government. Good exhibits on multiple floors.

Great local museum located in a stately old courthouse in quaint downtown Newton, NC. Weekday parking was a cinch.
There are exhibits on all three floors, the highest concentration being on the ground level and lower level. The staff was especially friendly and knowledgeable.
