Second time we fished on the Avalon Pier. We really like it---nice clean facilities (snack bar, bar area, restrooms) and the staff is very friendly. AND, caught some fish (always a plus). We'll be back!

Nice to sit on the pier in the evening and just listen to the waves. Lot's of folks fishing right up until the pier closes for the night.

We have been here many times. It is a great place to spend a rainy Outer Banks afternoon. So many fun games and pool tables, don't forget the cold beer and great veiws too.

Pier extends roughly 500' into the ocean with plenty of room for fishing without bumping into others. Pier shack had bar, game room, food, etc.
