The Park Service museum is very informative, and has several pieces from the original Wright Flyer. The site of the first flights is just behind the Visitor Center. There are great views from the Wright Brothers monument.

I visited the Wright Brothers National Memorial on my first day here. I was well worth it. The museum with its displays and exhibits (plane replica) and short film provide you with an idea of what took place here. The outdoor area with the huge...More

This was a very cool exhibit, the ranger talk was awesome! Her name was Amy, and she brought the past alive!

$20 for me and my mom to get in. Seems a little overpriced but it’s also something super cool to see. The museum is very interesting but there’s a lot of reading so if you’re not into that then it may not be for you...More

The research the brothers did is an amazing testament to their tenacity. And their ingenuity in making a very light but strong craft is compelling.

Have been several times with family and toured the museum and memorial, extremely educational. There is a small lot down the road that I like to park at and walk my dog around the property and a small airfield for personal planes that you can...More

Very interesting, a lot of history to go along with the displays. Museum follow the path and corridors around, outside on the hill is the monument. Definitely a must see.

We came back 4 times during the week just to absorb more of the history of this place and to decide what we wanted to take home with us as a souvenir. It’s wonderful that we could do that on the same ticket! My grandchildren...More

The museum is small but has a lot of information. People with younger kids will appreciate the interactive displays. The trek up the hill could be a struggle for some and the wind at the top is fierce, so prepare if cold.
