Lots of trails to hike and I like you can see the horses (or ride) because they are such beautiful creatures! We took my senior dogs and took the easy loops on a beautiful day

This is worth a visit, especially if you are visiting the Raptor Center. It is pricey for the plantation tour, but we enjoyed our visit.

The grounds and buildings are well cared for. There are many animals on site including sheep, pigs, chickens, donkeys and even a Belted Galloway cow!!!

If you go to Latta expecting Gone With the Wind style plantations you will be disappointed. This is one of the smaller plantations of the Piedmont and not nearly as grand as the Tara of the movie. That being said, this is a wonderfully complete...More

We enjoyed the walk through history. It's a lovely plantation. Lots of parking. We wandered around enjoying it. Wish we had taken the tour.

During it's time, it would have been considered almost a mansion. The man of the house traveled and was gone for months, and his wife and several children lived in the house. Times were hard, but they managed. The place has a lot of history,...More
