It is not a great fall, but it is pretty and you will see it just by driving on the road. Nice to take few pictures.

I came in June and again in September. June the falls was pouring over, September it was more of a dribble. But still just as beautiful!

This is the famous 'Last of the Mohicans' movie falls. It is very close to the road. However, it is small. The movie shots were so tight, we expected something much larger.

We intended to stop on the way to the Dry falls, but there was a blockade and not much water, especially compared to Dry Falls.

I don't think that Public Transportation is an option. I have never thought about it and never seen any. AND honestly I have never seen a taxi in highlands. Sorry....I am not much help

The falls are on NC highway 64 between Franklin and Highlands!. There are several falls along the route. Cullasaja Falls Lower Cullasaja Falls Dry Falls There are even more between Highlands and Cashiers on 64!
