–The rifle and pistol ranges are free to users (hunters pay for these state ranges through hunting licenses). –The three, nice shotgun ranges are different and $3 for 25 clays (they only accept payment by credit card). These ranges can deploy clays by wireless push-button or by voice (which allow you shoot solo). –There is a large archery range but I don't know what it costs users, if anything.

The range is phenomenal. Beautiful, well maintained, and safe for families. The RSO, Noah, was super friendly and extremely helpful. He gave a very in-depth safety brief and was monitoring the range at all times. Definitely felt safe. I didn't catch the other RSO's name as he was literally falling asleep standing up.

NC State facility providing a range of practice and educational opportunities at minimal cost! Tempted to keep this to myself, at the same time the complex offers so much and while used by many is not well known, or crowded. Public and open to all more usage is probably a good thing!?
