Great beach with 4WD access. But only 4WD access do not attempt to take your AWD vehicle out here or other non 4WD vehicle. Great option to see the wild horses on your own.

We called several tour companies that did the wild horse tours and this company was responsive. They also gave us a generous discount for 7 people. Gator, our tour guide, was fantastic and we felt like he covered everything.

It is a truely beautiful beach. I do gotta say that it’s interesting to see people drive on the beach and not follow the guidelines.

You can drive on the beach free of charge. Its just a guess if you see horses, either on your own or on the paid tour. But if you drive on the beach its best to have a high frame vehicle, and let some of the air out of your... More
