Tiring walk up, especially as it was hot and sunny. Lots of water required. Views at top of Fintry Hills and Ben Lomond makes this a great walk if you only have half a day. 45 minutes from Glasgow by bus, so convenient.
There are many things to do at the glen.
Arrive by bus direct from Glasgow if no car
Visit 16th century graveyard
Walk up to waterfalls or carpark in the sky to view celtic training ground
